This makes me super excited

Ultimate Spider-man the cartoon! Have I mentioned that Ultimate Spider-man was the first superhero comic I read? My cousins went through a huge phase where they would hog the PS2 at my grandparent's house and only play Ultimate Spider-man. They never even let me play. Q^Q

Guuuuuyyyyyssss.......... >->

I went fabric shopping today.
Spider Man!!!!! >V<

At the checkout, the old lady behind my mum and me said " Some little boy at your house will be really happy when he gets that." I had to keep myself from laughing while my mum explained that it was for me.
Funniest point is that my friend and I were just talking about how we currently have the same interests as little boys.
I also got a pattern to use for my bff's Captain America dress.

Went to the Movies on Friday

And I saw Captain America. It gave me a chance to finally take a picture. Bonus: I made a Cap headband to go w/ the outfit.
The red tights was my sister's idea, so I stole "borrowed" them from her.

Step one to geekdom

Buying comic books always confused me. I'm way more used to book stores where everything is spread out and in plain sight. Having the back issues of comic books in boxes everywhere always intimidated me. I don't even know why. It's not like I'm a germaphobe and don't like touching things that other people touch.

So the point of this post was to announce that I've finally started to buy comic books. Right now I'm really into Deadpool. Except for the whole kinda psycho and super violent part, he seems like a really fun guy.

First Project

When I was fabric shopping with my friends, I came across an amazing find.
Yes, Marvel superheores. >/////////<
I'm now in the middle of sewing my first jumper.
Here's the top part.

I'm planning a pleated skirt and a red belt and straps.
Expect more pictures when it's done.

Introduction

I believe there are two major crossovers of Geek and Chic. One is a an Ipod Touch with a Charmmy Kitty skin.

The other is a jeweled calculator.

On one side of the spectrum is something high tech and still stylish, while the other side is neither useful nor nice to look at. All I know is I'm somewhere between the two.
