Wedding covers

Oh wow, three posts in one week? how cool!

So I was browsing Comics Alliance today and found the article on Phil Noto's variant cover for Astonishing X-men #51 which will have the first gay marriage in Marvel comics.
The next question is why do I care, This is a great thing to happen and all, but I just don't care for weddings in general.
The answer is that my best friend, Sarah collects wedding editions of comics (mostly avengers related). So far she has the Black Panther and Storms wedding, and Luke cage and Jessica Jones' wedding.

So I guess I'll be going out early to try and pick up this variant and gift it to my friend.

Armor

I am a huge fan of IndyMogul's Backyard FX.

I'm really inspired to combine these two tutorials to make a set of Iron Man armor. What do you think?

Loki's mind is like a box of these

I know this doesn't fit in with the rest of my posts and the supposed theme of my blog, but my sister got kittens today and they are the cutest thing ever.
 This one's Thor...
 And this one's Loki.
And here they are together, fighting in the car.

I didn't have internet on Thursday, so here's what I was going to post.

My friend had offered to take me to the Avengers because, really, it's way different going with friends where you can make comments about how attractive the cast is as opposed to going with your mom where you need to bottle up your feelings and squees until you feellike you're going to burst.

Anyways back on topic. The plans fell through and my friend and ordered Chinese food and watched movies at her house instead.
Not wanting my new dress to go to waste, I went to my favorite comic book store, Comicazi and asked one of the very nice people working there to take a picture for me.

My mum sent me a picture on Facebook today.

... suddenly, I feel like sewing.

Finally got to seeing the Avengers tonight. It made me so happy. That's the only way I can describe it. It made me really really happy.
I went with my mum, so no actual costume this time, just rocking the red white and blue.
When I had gotten the skirt, I had wanted to hem it shorter and use it for my fem!superboy (which I didn't end up doing because I got lazy) to which my mother had said "Just make sure you don't make it too short. You don't want to scare Steve." because she had this strange notion that I think I'm Captain America's girlfriend. I decided to humor her with this outfit.
