Busy Busy Busy at Arisia

As the title says, I'm probably at Arisia now after an all-nighter (or something similar) working on the birds of prey for the masquerade Sunday night. Fingers crossed that I get the performance recorded so I can show you guys.

So the part of the post that you all have been waiting for is the sewing superhero because I post those when I'm busy or boring:
My sister showed me this scene since she's been reading through Nightwing.

Also, if any of you readers out there find a comic where a superhero is sewing or has someone else sewing their costume, feel free to comment with the issue number or hit me up on twitter: @notsogeekchic.

Have a boosterrific Booster Gold day, everyone!

My friend a while back was looking through information about Booster Gold and found that his birthday is December 29, but in the future. So today is a day we like to use to celebrate him and his large ego. (it's also my birthday too so that's the only reason I find it such a big deal.)

So yeah. Booster Gold doesn't sew, but he still does some handiwork on his costume.
also he does so shirtless because I guess he didn't think to bring another set of clothes.

I have finals this week, so I'm too busy to be interesting. But once the simester's over I will start working on my Lady Blackhawk costume.

Also I have a fashion blog on Tumblr here where there are pretty pretty costumes and geeky stuff.

Sorry, settling in to college life

I'm not going to be very active until I get more into the swing of things (and move a sewing machine into my dorm). So here, have a Steve Rogers sewing:
context, he's deciding what his new superhero identity should be. his first idea was "The Swashbuckler". I'm glad he decided on "Nomad"
Steve loves capes as much as my sister does. and is that a Batman reference I see?

Sewing for the Dark Night Raises Midnight Release

Need to finish sewing the applique, add a zipper, and make a belt. Probably won't have time to make a cape, but I'll probably be able to make something for my hair (either a black and yellow headband or bat ear clips.
